Phil Koestler
Phil has over 29 years serving as a professional Christian counselor. Besides being licensed by the State as a Professional Counselor, he also has specialization as a Substance Abuse Counselor. Phil provides assessment and counseling to those struggling with alcohol or other drugs.
He specializes in working with children and adolescents. This includes therapy for children and adolescents, family therapy, and consultation to teachers and principals. Issues addressed can include learning problems, acting out behavior, ADHD, depression, separation anxiety, and other disorders of childhood and adolescence.
Phil has completed special coursework and training, i.e. “Guide Me With Your Counsel”, to provide distinctively Bible-based counseling. He has also completed the requirements and been granted Board Certification as a Professional Christian Counselor by the American Association of Christian Counselors.
In October, 2007 Phil was granted the designation of Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) by the national Employee Assistance Professional Association.
Most recently, December 2008, he completed the requirements and training established by the American Association of Christian Counselors to serve as a Professional Life Coach. This will allow him to help those desiring to grow in relationships and meet life goals without going through the medical / mental health system. Joshua K. Lipps
Joshua is a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of Wisconsin. He earned his Master’s degree at Northern Illinois University’s COAMFT accredited program for Marriage & Family Therapy. Joshua is a clinical member of AAMFT and WAMFT as well as the American Association of Christian Counselors. He works with individuals, couples, and families. His areas of special interest and experience include working intensely with couples therapy, child behavioral problems, and family issues.
Joshua has great skill in communicating complex ideas in ways that become easy for clients to grasp. He then assists them in applying those ideas in ways that fit each client’s needs and personality.
Joshua uses a Bible-based approach in counseling, viewing God’s Word as the source for truth in life’s journey. He also views clients systemically, that is, realizing our lives exist in the context of family, jobs, school, community, etc. Josh applies a Biblical worldview to integrative counseling approaches including cognitive behavioral, PET-C, and psychoeducational.
Kami Jo Lipps
Kami Jo is a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of Wisconsin. She earned her Master’s degree at Northern Illinois University’s COAMFT accredited program for Marriage & Family Therapy. Kami Jo is a clinical member of AAMFT and WAMFT, as well as the American Association of Christian Counselors. She works with individuals, couples, and families. Her areas of special interest include relationship difficulties, child behavioral problems, family stress, women’s issues, anxiety and depression.
Kami Jo utilizes a Bible-based approach to working with individuals, couples, and families, as God’s Word is the source for dealing with all of life’s challenges. She views human beings from a systemic approach, realizing our lives exist in the context of our families, jobs, school, community, etc. Kami Jo uses an integrated array of therapeutic
approaches and techniques to promote change, including experiential, cognitive-behavioral, and psychoeducational techniques. She is also a practitioner of the PET-C approach for counseling couples. She has a knack for connecting with clients on an emotional level and her therapy style has been described as a great balance of both challenging and encouraging clients to meet their goals.
