What you can expect in working with me...
My heart beats for stories of the heart! Often we hear and tell external stories but we all have true heart stories aching to be told, heard and healed. Where are you in your journey that leads you looking for help? What pain, heartache, relational troubles, loss? Unacknowledged wounds can't be healed any more than physical injuries without care. It takes courage and good company for such journeys. I hope to offer a safe nonjudgmental space to companion with you as you give yourself the kindness of taking yourself seriously and move toward healing.
My therapy style is relational and narrative with a desire to come alongside you as you give yourself the gift of a space to be present and honor your heart, emotions, and story! I work with individuals and couples (often stuck in a disconnection dance) and hope to offer a strong and kind presence and consider it an honor to be part of your stories.
Life can be tough at times and it's scary to risk opening your heart to someone you've never met. You'll be choosing what you want to talk about each session, and if we aren't a good relational fit I'll be happy to help find someone who is. I believe in the therapy process. It's been a refuge for me in stressful times and I hope for you as well.
